A Quiet Christmas Eve

  • 7:30pm Saw Mr. Cat with inexplicable surprise, in an atmosphere with sort of mystery
  • 7:40pm Went out to buy some flowers, tears almost came into my eyes for unknown reasons
  • 7:55pm Bought a bouquet of violet at the gate of Lianhua supermarket
  • 8:10pm Received a phone call from my old classmate and talked on the phone about her recent life with good memory and her current dilemma
  • 8:30pm Came back home and found Mr. Cat was asleep
  • 8:40pm Turned on the Haydn's piano sonatas, set the bouquet in the big mouth vase
  • 8:42pm Read the book"The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" by Marktwain, which I read at teenage...
  • 10:40pm Had a simple supper with Mr. Cat discussing "bad father and good son"...
  • 3:00am Finished reading the book, Impressed with all that happened on little Huckleberry in Mississippi...
  • 3:10am Felt grateful for my inspirational and peaceful life in cups of drinks
  • 3:45am Went to bed...

Homesick

Having been out of Shanghai for near a week, now I'm at Xiamen airport. I will fly back to Shanghai late tonight, wondering if my dear Mr. Cat and the flowers "forgot me not"(see below) I bought before leaving are still fine at home?

Well, "homesick" is not a bad "sickness" but a deep feeling of missing the home-like peace at heart. My "home" could locate anywhere geographically as long as it's together with true love and mental freedom - what else can be missed to be sick?

I love the feeling of "homesick".

Samurai-style (Copy)

The only difference between this chart and the one on Paul's diary is the direction of the arrowhead on the broken line. I turned it to the opposite (from south to north) to show the heading route of the Samurai.

I think this is easier for me to understand the conflict immediately. Well, my personal opinion only. I do appreciate Paul's imagination from the original JT poster to this "samurai style", from cigarette to weapon. Cool!

fd's flickrtoy -Scout

This is the selected 28 photos by "Flickr Explore Daily" from my photostream in 2005.  I found all of them were taken before May 2005 when I joined my current company.  What a sad fact.  After the extremely busy working months in the second half of last year, I started to miss the time in nature - am I losing my creativity or just losing time?
